Case study · MotisCo · Brussels Climate Week
Four days, nineteen stories, a recap every night
How Brussels Climate Week turned a week of panels into a library of people who explain why the work matters.
The challenge
The approach
One interview room
A fixed location in the venue, lit once, so every interview looked the same and no speaker had to be found in a corridor. I hosted every conversation myself.
One floor camera
A second camera covered the stage, the expo, the partner booths and the vox pops, and picked up the b-roll the recaps needed each day.
Speakers booked themselves
Every invited speaker and partner received a personal booking link with a calendar invite and the option to reschedule. A public link covered everyone else. The organisers followed bookings in their client portal.
Releases signed on set
Each interviewee signed on a tablet before the camera rolled. They received the PDF, the organisers received the PDF, and the record was kept.
Recaps edited the same night
A ten-second on-camera intro from the day's host, the day's strongest moments, names and titles on screen, published before the next morning's first panel.
What was delivered
- 4 daily recap videos, each online the same evening
- 19 sit-down interviews with speakers, partners and policymakers over four days
- 19 character stories of 90 seconds, one cut from each interview, for the organisers and for the speakers' own channels
- 19 vox pops with participants and exhibitors across the expo
- The full-length interview with every speaker, delivered as well
- Stills from the interview room for the organisers' LinkedIn coverage
- An after-movie for next year's partners and ticket sales

What the organisers said
“The personal experiences are what makes these videos so captivating.”
